Remology
Personal Care Branding
BRANDING | PRINT
Remology is a personal care brand launched in late 2023, built around the idea that self-care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of gender expression. Working as part of the in-house design team at Tango International, I was involved from the very beginning: Miro boards, brand strategy sessions, in-store research, and full packaging execution across four product categories. There was no brand identity to begin with: just a product range and a vision. We built everything else.
-
Tango had a strong product ready for retail, but no brand story, no visual identity, and no way to communicate what made Remology different from every other personal care label on the shelf. The brand also needed to solve a real design problem: how do you make a range that spans Styling, Remedy, Beauty, and Grooming feel cohesive, while also making it immediately clear which category each product belongs to?
-
The solution we landed on was colour as a navigation system. Each of the four categories got its own distinct colour (Styling in purple, Remedy in green, Beauty in orange, Grooming in blue) chosen to feel neither gendered nor clinical, and bold enough to pop on shelf. The result is a range that's immediately navigable at a glance, whether you're a customer or a retailer merchandising the display.
Beyond colour, we developed the full brand identity: Starting with one of the hero products, naming it: Impact Therapy (a handheld massager), building out the visual language, and creating a brand story that communicated Remology's inclusive values without having to spell them out in every line of copy. The packaging was designed to be highly visual and shelf-ready, with distinct USPs built into the design so the product could sell itself.
Throughout the process I worked closely with the sales team and conducted in-store research; looking at what was already out there, where the gaps were, and what a retailer would actually want to stock.

Deliverables included:
Full brand identity from scratch
Packaging design across four product categories and multiple SKUs
Brand story and visual language
Design system for social media, e-commerce, and printed retail materials
Before the official launch, Remology was already being preordered by retailers like Shaver Shop and Harris Scarfe which tells you the brand had the right retail presence from day one. The inclusive, highly visual packaging carved out a clear niche in a crowded category, and the brand continues to grow in market.
